As the Clinical Manager - Agency Workforce , you'll be instrumental in providing our nurses with unparalleled clinical support and education, ensuring they're equipped with the latest healthcare practices. Collaborating closely with the State Manager - Health, you'll uphold our reputation for excellence by guiding our nurses towards optimal clinical expertise and practice. Key responsibilities include providing in-field preceptorship support to graduates and newly arrived overseas nurses, liaising with Nursing Unit and Facility Managers to facilitate seamless induction and ongoing educational support, and fostering relationships with healthcare stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery. To excel in this role, you'll need:
Demonstrated experience in clinical governance and leadership within acute and aged care settings.
A track record of mentoring nursing staff to achieve high standards of clinical performance and outcomes.
Previous engagement with healthcare professionals and community services to enhance service delivery.
Insight into training and educational needs of agency nurses, including collaboration with delivery partners.
Proficiency in clinical evaluations, performance reviews, and care documentation systems.
A commitment to workplace health and safety legislation, with a focus on injury and risk mitigation.
Essential qualifications including a minimum of 5 years' clinical experience, current registration with AHPRA, and familiarity with relevant legislation and quality standards.
Excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a valid driver's licence for statewide travel.
This full-time permanent position offers will be based in our Launceston office, with occasional out-of-hours work and statewide travel required.
