Due to a long, strong, and ongoing pipeline of work we are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants for the positions of qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technicians within our Queensland Trades Team who will work for our valued clients.
The role of an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician is to achieve technical excellence in the installation, servicing and repairing of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction and safety should be your top priority.
Essential skills needed:
• Qualifications as an air conditioning, refrigeration technician, electrician.
• To Accurately diagnose faults and repairs required and ensuring that all communications and repairs are customer-solution focused.
• Expertise knowledge of requirements.
• Be able to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Hold all industry required tickets and tools.
• Supply & maintain own commercial grade tools, noting a tool maintenance allowance is included in the salary package).
• Maintain current driver’s license.

About You:
• Be trade qualified with industry experience (with current relevant licences refer below additional information).
• Have the ability to work on a call roster system to accommodate our 24-hour, 7 day a week service.
• Be required to utilise our computer-based job management system and mobile devices to complete all relevant site documentation.
• Have own hand tools and test equipment most used in this trade.
• Possess strengths such as: attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment as well as the confidence and technical ability to work autonomously.
• Provide training and on the job support to apprentices as required.
• Pass on experience to other team members as required.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Hard working and reliable.

Additional Information:
Must have:
• AQF Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• Current Arctick Refrigeration Handling Licence.
• Current Restricted or Full Electrical Licence.
• QBCC Mechanical services—air-conditioning and refrigeration occupational licence.
• Current CPR/LVR.
• Required checks, licences and vaccinations.
Tasks Include: ·
The employee will:
• Maintain a consistently high level of workmanship.
• Accurately diagnose faults and repairs required and ensuring that all communications and repairs are customer-solution focused.
• Identify and communicate additional work and preventative maintenance work to protect the best interests of our customers.
• Perform their duties with integrity and in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of all repairs to customer’s equipment.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with a sense of urgency for customer service.
• Ensure full compliance of technical information is supplied before leaving site for SimPro processes including, but not limited to:
o Correct job card information.
o Repair photos.
o Stock allocating.
o Client specific information..
o Asset numbers
o Customer signatures.
o Individual daily and schedule is completed updated in full, each and every day.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform work within the scope of their authorisation/licensing.
• Follow all care protocols and legislative requirements.
• Keep company vehicles clean and tidy and report any damage/repairs needed as soon as possible.
• Check all parts are correct before leaving the workshop for scheduled service and repair jobs.
• Ensure you have all tools and equipment required to carry out scheduled jobs and they are kept in good working order.
• Monitor stock in your vehicle.
• Form part of the On Call team.
