The Role

The position of the Network Strategy Manager – Fleet is responsible for leading the development of strategic plans and delivery roadmaps for TGE Fleet operations and broader TGE Network operational strategies.

This role will drive the strategy and capital planning processes to ensure that the fleet is standardised, working optimally, maximising organisational efficiencies and service performance.
 

Beyond Fleet strategy, this position will be required lead on the design and delivery of operational transformation projects and capability to execute the broader network operations strategy.  A key responsibility of this role is to maximise network standardisation and optimisation to deliver improvement in network performance, while ensuring the Network is ready to meet the future needs of the business and the customers we serve.
 

Exercising excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Functional and Divisional operational teams within the TGE network, this position is pivotal to enabling long term operational readiness, driving operational efficiencies and customer service delivery outcomes.
 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team to develop and deliver the overall network fleet strategy for operations, including the development and implementation of a long term plan, in line with customer requirements and broader TGE network development strategy (network, fleet, site).

• Strategic development of the fleet model and associated capital planning processes, ensuring the fleet model it is aligned to the organisational objectives, meet the future needs of the business and the markets it serves.

• Develop fleet and other network design blueprints and project plans to ensure Network standardisation objectives are met.

• Conduct network capacity modelling on a rolling 3 – 5 year timeframe, actively managing the Network Footprint and associated Fleet strategy and Assets to support growth and efficiency

• Coordinate with divisional operations managers on supply forecast inputs, identifying service risks and opportunities (latent capacity)

• Prepare Strategy and capital planning presentation content for operations & communication.

• Support operations team education on Network capability, including transformation project scopes and deliverables, developing fit for purpose tools (process & systems)

• Own, govern and maintain the data integrity of all key design inputs to the Network strategy Fleet plan and broader Network strategy as required.

• In conjunction with the NOC Planning team, conduct scenario analysis for the supply plan and re-forecasting as required to facilitate operational decision-making and identification of transformation project priorities

• Work in a manner that is not harmful to one’s own health and safety and the health and safety of others

This role will see you responsible for developing, managing and implementing the end-to-end bid writing and submission process. Your role will also work periodically to develop and maintain customer communications, proposals, and presentations. • Lead bid responses ensuring high quality, professional tender responses that are delivered on time, are customer focused and comply with TGE policies and address the customer specifications and objectives.
• Drive and co-ordinate the end-to-end bid process for the business; including bid procedures, reporting, documentation and governance.
• Monitoring of bid content and processes to ensure consistently high standard tender responses are presented to the marketplace. Support the performance of the Bid Team and contribute to   written instructions and formal feedback to the sales team regarding the principles of responding to customer tenders and delivering bid responses that comply with all business requirements.
• Actively identify new business opportunities through company and government websites.
• Continue to maintain, develop and improve the sales resource and information library.
• Identify new information and trends in responding to bids and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Produce superior and appropriate writing standards for customer communication.

Manages the Investments data Governance and operations delivery function, team, and capabilities, (people, processes, and systems), to deliver data driven analysis, reporting, and insights, to enable market leading Investment management monitoring, reporting and decision making across the end-to-end Investments lifecycle.

This role is expected to work with the Rest enterprise Data organization to adopt and embed sound data management practices into how we operate the Investments data solutions and to ensure the appropriate operating model controls to deliver accurate and complete data to the Investments organisation.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Operationalize data management capabilities, processes, and the organizational design.
• Lead and develop the Investment Data operational team, comprising of data analysts, and reporting specialists
• Accountable to implement and drive data governance practices and assurance, develop data stewardship and ownership roles across the Investment function, ensuring alignment and adoption from the Enterprise framework standards.
• Develop and maintain the operating model for the investments data governance, aligning with enterprise standards and practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely data, reporting and analytics delivery to investments, including data onboarding, data issue resolution, engages project teams to ensure proper data usage.
• Information/Data Architecture: working with technology and architecture for tooling, standards + practice.
• Drive a strong focus on delivering business value via improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data.
• Define and embed roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets.
