The Implementation and Training teams drive our company’s growth by nurturing new and migrating customers at the outset of their Xplor Education journey, laying the foundation for upsell/ cross-sell of additional products and long-term satisfaction and retention.  

Reporting into Chief Operation Officer of Education & Personal Services, you will help us lead the team responsible for onboarding, offboarding, training, and adoption of the Education products. You will monitor, manage, and provide guidance, ensuring that all tasks meet the internal and customer’s expectations of quality and timeliness. Some of the other responsibilities include:

• Collaborates with relevant business partners to develop and maintain the processes and activities needed to integrate our product with needed solutions
• Manages and leads the training team to ensure that revenue targets are met, and training is a larger part of the commercial motion
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
• Manages the offboarding group to develop processes and tools focused on ensuring accuracy of when billing should cease
• Ensures that billing is in alignment with onboarding and offboarding. Needs to be able to interpret contracts for accuracy
• Coordinate with team to review external customer’s product demands, develop project plans and ensures that implementations are completed on time and meet client expectations
• Collaborate with Commerical team to ensure team members have appropriate documentation, training, software, and other tools needed to effectively and efficiently respond to customers and retain information needed for internal use
• Work with senior management to provide activity reports and metrics around project and department performance.
• Up to 25% travel required, plus flexibility to attend virtual meetings outside of standard work hours to connect with US and UK colleagues

Location: For this position, preference will be given to Melbourne based candidates who can be on-site occasionally as that's where the majority of the team is based. Otherwise you can work 100% remotely from anywhere is Australia or New Zealand.

About the role:

One of V2's customers is seeking a highly skilled Network Lead to join their team. The customer is looking to modernise their infrastructure and platform with a Cloud and DevOps approach. This is an exceptional chance for someone experienced in network engineering to learn and grow their platform engineering skills. You will be collaborating with a talented and diverse group of professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the support and expertise of V2 by your side.

Responsibilities

• Shift from reactive break-fix to proactive monitoring to improve issue detection and resolution times.
• Streamline and automate device onboarding, application/user onboarding, and support processes.
• Oversee network configuration management with a strong focus on recently implemented SD-WAN.
• Mature cloud networking practices and establish a robust platform engineering approach for network products, emphasising cloud and self-service solutions.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to helping other teams by choosing the right solutions, not just the latest technologies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their technical skills and fostering a collaborative working environment
• Communicating progress and working with various stakeholders, 3rd party organisations and business units to drive the required outcomes

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Network Engineering, including network security (CISCO & Firewalls)
• Desire to work with AWS and Azure.
• Automation and Scripting Experience essential, infrastructure as code preferred.
• Proven experience in managing network configurations and familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
• A strong desire to assist other teams and provide the best solutions to meet their needs.

The Role

As our Director of Privacy and Assurance, based in Australia but with a global outlook, you’ll bring the following skills and experience: 

• Detailed understanding of Australian general privacy principles, concepts and frameworks (Federal and State). 
• Ability to upskill on international privacy regimes (e.g. GDPR).
• Issue identification - ability to conduct risk assessments and convert these into actionable plans.
• Experience in compliance programmes and projects, including working across processes, policies and products.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly, to non-legal stakeholders, including confidently presenting those issues to senior management.
• Understanding and experience of engaging with public sector and external stakeholders concerning data and privacy.

Practically, this will involve: 

The Privacy and Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring Auror remains at the forefront of best practice concerning data and privacy practices, in primarily three ways:

• Internal - working across product and policy teams to ensure external best practice in privacy and data protection is both championed internally and is reflected in product and policies through effective project management. This will also include building capacity on Australiana and international privacy regimes and emerging issues/trends.
• External - Ensuring Auror is up to date on and engaging in relevant international privacy and data protection regimes. This includes supporting internal stakeholders for relevant external engagements (customer, regulator, industry), recommending industry associations and engagement opportunities.
• Hybrid - Shaping the internal and external elements of privacy best practice and product development into tangible materials and outward facing collateral to develop assurance assets.

About you

• You’ll have experience with privacy laws and frameworks, understanding key concepts and obligations, and taking that knowledge into programmatic and pragmatic solutions in a complex organisation.
• You’ll be able to conduct risk assessments and make recommendations on how to keep our products, processes and policies up to date - but also still nimble - in order to provide internal and external assurance while supporting a high growth operation.
• You’ll be mission driven and passionate about the role of technology in society and the part that good data practices play.
• You’re a team player who can work independently and deliver, but contribute to building a strong team culture and know when to escalate issues to gain internal support and direction.

• Competitive salary range: Depending on level of experience $160,000 - $178,000  (IC5)
