Role Overview:
As the Talent Acquistion Lead, you're not just filling jobs; you're shaping the future of Melba by building our organisational capability. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies and leading a proactive and forward-thinking team to deliver effective recruitment outcomes.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Establish trust and partnerships with the General Outcomes Managers to develop recruitment plans and strategies which reflect specific needs.
- Develop and facilitate the execution of recruitment plans and strategies to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting and continuously develop networks/ partnerships to actively build a pipeline of candidates for roles.
- Effectively manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Explore and implement different advertising / branding techniques which generate interest from candidates across all roles and regions e.g. internet /intranet sites, social and community networks, referral programs.
- Represent Melba at recruiting events (e.g. information sessions, job fairs), providing information and promoting Melba Support Services.
- Coach hiring managers on recruitment policy, processes and systems.
- Support the Future Melba Transformation office on their ongoing hiring needs.
- Contribute to key projects as required i.e. student placement program, reporting, training.
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met.
- Manage the onboarding process including setting up in payroll system, booked into induction, new starter paperwork and training.
