We are looking for a Strategy Analyst who will work closely with our strategy, product, business, design and development teams to build and deliver cutting-edge applications to completely change the delivery of healthcare for everyone on the planet. The role will be based in Sydney. Our core solution captures structured, protocolised and clinically validated data, empowering better patient-centred outcomes and generating new leaps in healthcare.

The Role

As a Strategy Analyst, you will be instrumental in the strategic direction, detailed planning and cross area projects. You will work closely with the Chief of Strategy and Performance, the Chief Product Officer and Chief Growth Officer. 

Strategy & Performance at Big Picture has responsibility over several areas:

• Setting the strategic direction in concert with business area lead including but not limited to product direction, commercial strategy, competitor analysis, market research and financial direction
• Running our strategic partnerships with different organisations. These partnerships are usually either technology partnerships which improve the capabilities of our platform or service that are needed for us to deploy or enhance our product  
• Performance involves working with the functional vertical business owners on cross functional projects to improve business performance

The right person will:

• Have a tertiary degree in a discipline like Maths/Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Medicine, Economics, Actuarial Studies etc.
• Have 2-4 years of experience in strategy 
• Have experience in most of the following:
• Client/stakeholder engagement and management 
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas
• Building stories through data in the form of decks
• Data visualisation

Nice to have experience:

• Analytics languages (SQL, Python, R or similar)
• Building statistical models like GBMs, GLMs and/or Clustering

The Safety Manager will provide leadership and drive through a blend of operational and strategic approaches to safety and wellbeing, including psychosocial health and safety for staff across Montu. They are responsible for the effective management of WHS at Montu, including the identification of appropriate policies, frameworks, practices, reporting and analytics to ensure that Montu meets its regulatory requirements across a diverse set of work environments.

As an exceptionally organised and methodical professional, you will utilise your depth of experience to take this function to a level commensurate with an industry leading organisation. This role balances a pragmatic and hands on approach with the ability to plan and execute a strong strategy. This role will influence and support both senior leaders and front line employees across the business

Key Responsibilities

• WHS Effectiveness
  • Develop and implement a risk and safety framework which includes effective systems and processes and provide advice on complex issues to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy and organisational requirements.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to promoting and raising awareness about safety and wellbeing at work. 
  • Provide high-level advice and support to key internal stakeholders to facilitate the proactive management of safety risk.
  • Implement comprehensive strategies to manage psychosocial hazards, promote mental health, and prevent injuries.
  • Development and implementation of project specific WHS management plans, procedures, guidelines, and training.
  • Engage in effective WHS consultation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulations and proactively provide information and advice to management on appropriate application and impact on organisational policy and procedures.
  • Regularly measure and evaluate WHS performance, coordinate audits, and implement improvements based on feedback and analysis.
• Incident and Hazard Management
  • Conduct and/or oversee the investigation of incidents and hazard management (depending on the severity of incident), including conducting investigations and risk assessments, and maintaining accurate and compliant records.
  • Manage emergency response and injury management protocols, maintaining readiness for emergencies and overseeing return-to-work processes.
  • Work with relevant divisional leads to ensure all incident / hazard reports including associated documentation are followed up and completed in a confidential, timely fashion.
  • Active coordination and early involvement in the injury and claims management process with employee, supervisor and medical professional.
  • Coordinate and assist, as required, in the injury management/return to work process to ensure the earliest possible return to work for injured employees.
  • Manage long term medical absences, making decisions on approach and management (regardless of whether caused by a work injury).
• Continuous Improvement, Safety and Compliance
  • Continuously learn from successes and failures to refine and enhance improvement strategies.
  • Actively participate in training (including mandatory training) and professional development sessions to enhance skill set.
  • Observe, understand and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Policies, Procedures and directives.
  • Be proactive and responsible for own actions, and adhere to compliance requirements relevant to your position (eg. legislation, policy and guidelines).
