In the position of Rehabilitation Consultant, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to support people to Return to Work after sustaining an injury or illness AND to support Activities of Daily Living Assessment and equipment trials for individuals as a result of work-related injury or illness. This opportunity will be servicing the Melbourne Metro region & on a casual basis!

As part of Activities of Daily Living Assessments, you will:

• Assess an individual's Personal, Domestic, and Community ADL's, and identify recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment;
• Complete equipment trails in person with your clients, to ensure this recommendation is safe and appropriate for the Injured Worker, as well as prompting independence in their day-to-day life;
• Education to our clients and Injured Workers to compliment recommendations for support, and/or assistive equipment.

We are looking for AHPRA Registered Psychologists [Provisional or General] or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers or Accredited Social Worker or Qualified Counsellors who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients in Mudgee NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;

• Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.

• Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
• Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
