An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic individual to join Marsh’s Corporate and Commercial business to drive our relationship with a corporate authorised representative and strategic partner, represented across regional Australia.

First and foremost, this is a role that drives and enables portfolio growth. You will also liaise with our partner and connect it with relevant Marsh colleagues, providing oversight of compliance, governance, finance, debtors, IT/digital deployment, MCO, claims, placement and other Marsh supporting services.

This role will require interstate/regional travel and is suited to an individual passionate about the Australian agricultural industry and can develop suitable products. Due to the specific focus of the role, candidates can work remotely from a regional area and will not be required to attend a Marsh office on a regular basis.

• Lead monthly partnership meetings with our partner’s regional leaders and others as required to ensure oversight of operational “on the ground” matters.

• Possess and apply a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments through attendance at company and industry training events.

• Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance procedures.

• Maintain oversight of the delivery of all Marsh support services, including but not limited to compliance, governance, finance, debtors, IT/digital deployment, MCO, claims, placement.

• Recognise and capitalise upon revenue generation, growth and other opportunities – including new clients, cross-sell/expanded business, specific campaign design and oversight.

• Ensure no leakage of revenue opportunity to third party/wholesale brokers.

• Develop new business opportunities from existing portfolio and other sources – including managing current levels of inflation and how best to ensure client exposures are appropriately protected.

What you need to have? 

• Meet the training requirements of Tier 1 FSRA Compliance.

• Admission as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker by the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia.

• Completion and application of other areas of professional development such as Leadership, Management, Negotiation, Presentation, Broking or Project Management.

• Track record of managing client relationships and growing account revenue.

• Knowledge of or interest in agricultural industry and associated risks.

• Willing to travel regionally and nationally.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The Square Credit Risk team assesses and manages potential loan and chargeback risk for sellers processing on Square, and helps onboard new accounts in partnership with our Sales team. We are looking for an APAC Credit Risk Manager to be based in Melbourne or remotely from Sydney to support our growing seller base by leading a team of experienced Credit Analysts and Underwriters in Australia and Japan who review merchant accounts. They conduct reviews of our sellers, assessing credit risk associated with loan and processing activity. You will bring excellent people management and commercial credit experience and will use your skills to find unique solutions in how we promote growth, provide an innovative credit experience, and manage loss at Square.  You will report to the APAC Risk Lead, based in Melbourne.

You will: 

• Manage a team <5 of Credit Risk Analysts and Underwriters responsible for managing loan and chargeback risk in our seller base

• Manage seller re-enablement operations, assisting merchants with a negative balance resulting from chargebacks to get their accounts back in good standing

• Ensure operational and loss performance goals are met

• Review and approve credit requests and escalations

• Create frameworks, policies, and procedures to manage risk

The Role:

We are on the hunt for a customer experience focused, motivated, problem solver to join our fast-growing team. Reporting into the Claims Administrator - Team Leader, you will act as a second line of support for our external Call Centre, as a Claim Administrator.  The Claims Administration Team is responsible for all non-voice related customer resolutions, including client and customer escalations, case management, product replacement resolutions, and working with Manufacturers to seek alternative repair and replacement remedies.

As the face of TAL, you will offer TAL’s life insurance products directly to customers, providing general advice and recommendations to support their purchasing decisions and convert to a successful and compliant sale.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Educate clients about TAL’s insurance products, to help the, gain a full understanding of their options 
• Establish and maintain effective relationships though inbound and outbound queries 
• Achieve realistic monthly revenue and compliance targets associated with a general advice role  
• Accountable for managing accurate documentation and generation of quotes 
• Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure a positive sales and application experience

You will be working within the Lifebroker business unit who compare a variety of insurance products across 5 of Australia’s top insurers.  

 
Through our General Advice model, we provide the information necessary for our customers to make an informed decision to solve their insurance needs. We want our customers to turn to us in the first instance, to solve their insurance needs. 

What you will be doing:  

• Working within the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets. 

• Facilitate online and phone enquiries, providing a positive experience for all. 
• Contact, establish and maintain effective relationships with clients to manage policy renewals.  
• Educate clients about the available insurance products, to help each client gain a full understanding of their options. 
• Responsible to achieve monthly targets.  
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and generation of quotes. 
• Collaborate effectively with your team & other departments so clients experience an efficient and accurate application process.  

Paying claims is the most important thing we do. At TAL our Claims Teams are committed to providing an outstanding claims experience for our customers. TAL’s Claims teams are structured to support the customers of our three key business channels being Retail, Group and Direct. 

Working in the Claims - Group team, this role is accountable for the provision of personal and empathic service to clients and the proficient assessment of life claims in accordance with TAL’s claims philosophy, claims procedures, policy wording, and within stated authority limits.

In this role you will:

• Independently manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end
• Active engagement of key stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes for customers
• Assess, analyse, calculate and finalize claims payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide exceptional customer service including management of claims, communication and inquiries
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the timely and quality management of claims
• Participation in case conferences, peer case discussions, instructing third party service providers

What you’ll be doing in this role

• Be part of our forward-thinking and passionate Product & Design team, working closely with your triad and our top-notch engineers to design and deliver product experiences.
• Use research and data to inform your design decisions, including business insights, competitor reviews, user and stakeholder interviews and surveys.
• Create design concepts, prototype solutions and set the vision for new products and services. 
• Share your work and collaborate closely with the Product Design team to receive constructive feedback and refine your designs.
• Work within our design system and ensure it evolves to keep up with the pace we move at and our expectations of consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with team members across the company, from customer support and partnerships team through to growth to help create leading experiences for our customers

You’re probably a match if

• You have 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design, User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design.
• You have a portfolio demonstrating your visual design skills and design thinking experience where you have previously contributed to shipping UX/UI design for digital products.
• You have exceptional UI design skills and love to create intuitive visual designs that elevate our product experience and digital brand. You also have an understanding of web standards, user experience, and a passion for simplicity.
• You have a passion for Graphic Design and love creating print collateral such as publications, promotional materials, and user manuals.
• You have experience designing illustrations and animations to bring your visual design to life and add delight to your user experiences.
• You value working proactively, independently and transparently and are open to educating others.
