We are seeking a Junior Customer Success Manager to join our growing team in Australia. Responsibilities

• The primary focus of this role is to drive customer revenue growth by generating expansion opportunities.
• Be accountable for customer retention and proactively mitigate churn risks.
• Take ownership of key accounts that require high-touch engagement.
• Identify and explore opportunities to upsell and expand the usage of new features.
• Monitor customer health and proactively address risks with mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with internal ShiftCare teams to support product adoption and successful renewals.
• Effectively resolve customer questions which may include product training sessions.
• Share best practices with colleagues to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Who are you?

• 3+ years of experience in customer success or client-focused account management, preferably within a SaaS business.
• Strong commercial acumen to create outcomes that balance business goals with customer needs.
• A strong track record of meeting and exceeding customer revenue and retention targets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting strategies and solutions effectively.
• Solid understanding of business operations, with strengths in sales, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritising tasks to deliver results.
• Self-motivated, confident, and a collaborative team player.
• Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A demonstrated desire to learn and continuously improve.
• Experience with SaaS platforms or familiarity with care services is a significant advantage.

What you’ll deliver: 

• Working as part of a team within the GTM organisation supporting each other to achieve joint revenue targets on all assigned customers

• Assume overall responsibility for product adoption and utilization, preparing and educating customers on leveraging new features and releases.  

• Support the customer on release readiness by identifying opportunities for customers to take advantage of product innovations to increase value and impact over time 

• Partner with customers to define desired business outcomes and develop success plans, focusing on maximizing value realization from our solutions and services to deliver measurable ROI

• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, and deliver compelling Value Reviews that drive confidence and successful partnership

• Provide recommendations for best practices and look for potential solutions alongside other functional experts within SmartRecruiters. Connecting customers to available resources and where appropriate, other customers

• Prepare the customers for the contract renewal process by identifying value delivered and managing any risk or Red Account Objects. 

• Supporting the Account Manger to bring the renewal to a successful conclusion 

• Identify opportunities for account growth through upsell and cross sell and manage all opportunities to the Account Manager qualification stage

• Attend regular ongoing training both reactively and proactively to become a solution expert

• Use insight available to conduct consistent customer health checks to ensure solution adoption, optimization, satisfaction and engagement. Take action and provide recommendations to drive improvements when risk is identified

• Identify any potential risk to revenue loss or renewal by raising and managing Red Account Objects together with Account Managers and other internal functions to remediate and ensure revenue retention

• Build advocacy within the given book of business to increase the number of referenceable customers, identify case studies and other content which can be used to increase growth opportunities

• Contribute to adoption, best practice content and events held by the Community & Education team to increase the opportunities for self service education, including hosting best practice sessions for customers

• Act as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product

• Collaborate closely with other internal functions to facilitate connections between them and the customer to assist in achieving desired outcomes whilst managing customer expectations on resources, timelines and responses from other functions.

The Opportunity

Lyka is growing quickly, and no two weeks are the same. Our Customer Care team are on the frontline to our customers, answering enquiries and proactively solving any issues that arise. The team also contribute to process improvements that enhance customer experience.

Role responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for our customers (we use livechat, phones and emails as our primary Customer Care channels)
• Resolve customer issues around their account, orders and deliveries and advise customers on a variety of dog nutrition and wellness questions
• Work with Lyka’s operations team to ensure all customer order and delivery requests are executed
• Assist in developing and improving Lyka’s Customer Care knowledge base content
• Foster a growth-oriented, positive and high-performance culture that motivates employees and is aligned to the company's mission
• Live and work in accordance with Lyka’s values and principles at the workplace

• Exceptional customer service skills - helpful and positive attitude and always looking to go above and beyond for customers
• Well-versed verbal and written communication skills with strong English and grammar
• Proficient in using a computer, touch typing and able to learn new tools / systems
• Organised with high attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new topics, such as dog nutrition and wellness
• Resilient, high sense of ownership and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a contact center role is preferable
• Must be able to be rostered across a 7-day working week (rotating roster)
• Must love dogs
