We're looking for an influential and visionary Director of Brand Marketing to join our dynamic Brand and Marketing team at our Corporate Office in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. This newly created, national role offers the unique opportunity to lead and transform how our brand connects with audiences across the Australasia region. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping major brand initiatives, designing impactful campaigns, and spearheading PR strategies that inspire, engage, and elevate our brand promise.

In this strategic role, you will collaborate closely with operational and commercial leaders to craft a cohesive and elevated brand experience. Using data-driven strategies and industry expertise, you will work to strengthen consumer preference, drive measurable growth, and position Minor Hotels as a leader in the industry. As a key ambassador for our brand, you’ll design and implement tools and training programs that enable our teams to embody the brand at every level, ensuring consistency and excellence across all guest touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of brand marketing initiatives across Minor Hotels Australasia, ensuring impactful launches and alignment with global and regional strategies.
  • Develop activation toolkits, supporting documentation, and online resources to support brand initiatives at all levels.
  • Drive brand transformation programs for Minor Hotels in the Australasia region, collaborating with cross-functional teams and creative partners.
  • Manage and enhance the social media presence for all Minor Hotels brands in the region, ensuring alignment with brand standards across owned, earned, and paid media.
  • Spearhead public relations and influencer strategies, working with PR agencies to enhance media relations, brand storytelling, and crisis communication.
  • Identify and implement brand partnerships to boost awareness and enhance brand perception and preference.
  • Provide opening support for new hotels, ensuring pre-opening brand elements are executed seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with the global team to implement brand tracking initiatives and measure the success of key campaigns.
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring all communications and marketing efforts align with the brand promise and drive positive consumer perception.
