Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a passionate, adaptable and organised Full-Time Group Reservations Agent!
About the Role!
Joining the commercial heart of our hotel team and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be part of a team responsible for the planning of group reservation bookings including conference & events, sporting, corporate, special event, inbound and ad-hoc groups. You will work with our Sales and Planning teams and clients to ensure our group reservations are planned effectively and efficiently.
As a Group Reservations Agent your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of group room blocks and rooming lists.
- Foster and manage strong relationships with Tour Operators to ensure seamless group booking experiences and maintain mutual success.”
- Handle group accommodation queries and special requests.
- Manage Hotel inventory with relation to Group Reservations.
- Prepare group information and briefing for relevant Hotel departments.
- Proactively seek and address feedback from clients and develop ongoing client relationships.
- Quoting and securing group accommodation from non-catered groups and managing contracting, billing and handover for these groups.
Working with a dedicated team, you will utilise your strong relationship and administrative skills; collaborating with other departments to build and maintain partnerships with our existing / potential guests and clients to drive results.
