As a Compliance Specialist - Sustainable Packaging at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in the achievement of ALDI’s packaging commitments by collaborating with stakeholders on a national level and implementing systems to ensure compliance with our standards.
- Oversee and coordinate ALDI’s packaging recyclability compliance to ensure alignment with our sustainable packaging commitments.
- Conduct reviews of packaging recyclability non-compliance during the ALDI due diligence/clearance-to-supply process.
- Prepare detailed recommendations and actionable insights for buying teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment with ALDI's sustainability guidelines and providing recyclable alternatives that enhance compliance and reduce environmental impact.
- Oversee the supplier action plan process by creating and managing action plans, collaborating closely with buying teams, and ensuring that supplier partners implement and adhere to sustainable packaging practices.
- Prepare and present regular packaging compliance reports to provide visibility into progress and highlight areas for improvement. Leverage these insights to inform decision-making and strengthen compliance efforts across departments.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews across ALDI departments to identify opportunities for process improvements.
