Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and proactive recruiter to source and coordinate part-time sorters for peak periods. The ideal candidate will work closely with our client to ensure part-time sorters are scheduled and report to work during a few key periods each month. The recruiter must efficiently allocate sorters across multiple shifts, including non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit part-time sorters during peak periods
- Coordinate and schedule sorters into shifts that support operational needs, including non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work closely with the client to understand their sorter requirements and ensure timely reporting of sorters to their assigned shifts.
- Manage and maintain an accurate sorter roster to ensure smooth shift coverage.
- Communicate with candidates effectively to confirm their availability and ensure they are informed about shift schedules.
- Handle last-minute changes and replacements for shifts, ensuring no disruptions to workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role, preferably in logistics or a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shift planning and scheduling.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with candidates and client management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during peak periods.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including after office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
