Duties and Responsibilities of Civil Engineering Drafter
? Drafting and developing precise and tailored civil engineering drawings, sketches, layouts, and etc. for projects (using CAD) and making necessary adjustments in the drawings, ensuring the drawings adhere to relevant specifications, requirements, regulations, and etc.
? Analysing data and carrying out computations for civil engineering drafting works.
? Working closely with engineers to clarify and interpret project requirements and instructions, choosing appropriate equipment, and following procedures to conduct to ensure the accuracy.
? Estimating material quantities and costs, preparing material costs proposals accordingly.
? Visiting the sites, collecting data (soils, materials, and etc.), conducting testing works.
? Examining civil engineering drafting works and addressing related issues promptly to ensure the quality and accuracy of the drawings, collaborating with relevant personnel to support project progress.
The Applicant Must Meet the Following Qualification, Experience and Skills Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
? At least a Diploma
? At least five years relevant working experience
Essential Skills
? Proficiency in drafting software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
? Strong computing skills
? Extensive knowledge of civil engineering
? Good communication skills (oral and written)
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Attention to details
? Time management, problem-solving, critical thinking skills
? Background and experience in the construction industry is preferred
