Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for an Experienced Warehouse Operations and Facilities Supervisor for our client based in the Western Suburbs Region. Applicants who have had experience in the engineering industry with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings will be highly regarded. This is a permanent role with an attractive salary on offer for the right candidate, starting in the new year. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and results orientated person who is able to meet most of the following criteria:

Current HR Truck Licence.
Current Drivers Licence.
A strong work ethic with a 'can do' attitude, flexible and cooperative.
Minimum 3 year's experience in similar role.

Our client is seeking a candidate who is looking for long term employment, willing to strengthen their skills through the guidance of a mentor. The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded, with confidence in their knowledge of the engineering industry. This role will lead to an increased salary after a probation period for a suitable candidate. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Manage a safe, customer focused and cost-efficient Warehouse and Workshop function.
Manage and oversee daily operations of the Warehouse and workshop, including inventory control, PO fulfillment, delivering / receiving activities, QA.
Achieve of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
Manage stock, inventory control (Validation and processing of stock adjustments and inventory write offs, manage inventory accuracy)
Plan and purchase of Tools on agreed budget with management.
Support and optimise quality control processes to ensure product standards are maintained according to technical documentation.
Oversee maintenance of the facility, equipment and machinery, coordinating with external contractors if needed.
Ensure appropriate record keeping is adhered to for receiving and dispatching goods to third party or company.
