Caring 4 Kids Kindergarten North Richmond is an 88 place brand new long day care centre catering for children from the ages of 6 weeks - 6 years. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our North Richmond team.
This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week with a salary of $79040.00 plus superannuation.
The successful candidate must have:
· Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching
· Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
· Current NESA registration
· Current First Aid certificate
· Hold current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates or be willing to obtain.
· National Police Check
· Working with Children Check
· Minimum of 1 year of work experience
· The right to work in Australia
· Good English skills
· Basic Food Handlers training
· Child protection training or willing to obtain
Responsibilities include:
· Designing and implementing learning activities in both indoor and outdoor settings, using a variety of resources and equipment to support students' overall development.
· Providing diverse experiences and tasks to enhance physical coordination, social collaboration, self-confidence, and comprehension.
· Promoting language acquisition through activities such as storytelling, dramatic play, singing, rhyming, and group or one-on-one conversations.
· Observing children to track their progress and identify any signs of health concerns, emotional issues, or developmental challenges.
· Addressing children’s nutritional, safety, and welfare needs while recognising barriers that may affect their development.
· Sharing updates on children’s progress with parents and guardians.
· Attending meetings with parents, staff, and committees to discuss educational matters.
· Participating in family and community support programs when relevant.
· Supervising and mentoring student teachers during their training placements.
