Coates is looking for Technician - Power & HVAC to join their team based in Hebersham, NSW.
A REAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS POSITION
“This role is the Technical lead for our Temperature Control and remote monitoring systems. Responsible for condition and operation of
HVAC fleet the Power & HVAC technician will install, maintain, monitor and carry out repairs. This person will be our go to for any
technical inquiries related to product/heating and cooling systems.
POSITION SUMMARY
Technician - HVAC– is responsible for installation, maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns on customer sites. The technical
equipment lead in our business, the HVAC technician will work with our fleet of Fluid Chillers, Air Cooled Package units, Spot Coolers, Boilers
and ancillary equipment. The Technician will also be responsible for our plant automation/control and remote monitoring platforms.
Operationally, where a fault occurs the Technician will take ownership of the situation balancing customer expectation with what is best for
the business and arrange for site repair or replacement, including shipping and site commissioning. The technician will work with Service
Coordinator and Branch Supervisor to ensure equipment is ready for hire and spends a minimum of time waiting for off-hire checks and run
ups.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
• Cert II in Airconditioning and Refrigeration
• Qualified mechanical fitter; trade qualifications
• Current drivers & forklift licence (desirable)
• High risk licences
• Experience with equipment hire product range
• Experience in workshop or service environment
• Experience working on capital equipment
KNOWLEDGE (advanced):
• Hydraulics and schematics
• Auto electrics
Salary : $90,000 per annum
