Maintenance Crew Member Permanent Full Time Opportunity 38-hour week 9-day fortnight (Rostered Days Off) Salary Ranging from $63, - $73, p.a 11.5% Superannuation (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)
The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out routine work operating a combination jet and vacuum truck. operations include drain cleaning, sewage pump station cleaning, sewage treatment plant cleaning, non-destructive digging, inspections, maintenance, repair, renewal and construction of water and sewer reticulation assets as directed.
The position holder will follow instructions or carry out work in accordance with adopted practices and procedures complying with safe work practices under the instruction of a team leader or supervisor. interaction with the public is a key focus of this role and the need for excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to representing council in a positive and solutions focused manner.
