Doncaster Jaguar Land Rover (An associated company of Barry Bourke Motors), is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Automotive Electricians to join their Service Department in Doncaster VIC 3108.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Determine malfunction of electrical systems by visual inspection of vehicle/ equipment and coordinate with workshop and client appropriate actions or repairs
- Repair or replace defective wiring on all automotive electrical circuits such as lighting, ignition systems, safety systems, instruments and air conditioning
- Installation of automotive electrical accessories such as lighting, radio equipment, GPS systems and electric braking systems
- The capability to utilize electronic testing equipment, wiring diagrams and specification listings to diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Completion of paperwork including job cards and appropriate filing of invoices for purchased parts or equipment
- Complies with the highest level of safety at workshop and site to avoid any type of accidents
Skills & Abilities:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
