SALARY $75000 + SUPERANNUATION
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and adherence to menu recipes.
• Portion food, plate dishes, and add gravies, sauces, and garnishes to ensure visually appealing presentations.
• Ensure food preparation areas and equipment meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, following food safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and minimize wastage.
• Work efficiently under pressure to deliver orders in a timely manner during busy service periods.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and presentation guidelines.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and fostering a supportive team environment.
• Adapt to special dietary requirements or specific guest requests with care.
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years work experience
Certificate III and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Relevant experience in modern western and bar & grill cuisines
