Trans Communications Pty Ltd is a two-way radio communications company operating in Queensland. We sell, repair and install electronic equipment and provide services to Construction Companies, City Councils, Security Companies, Shopping Centres, Hotels, Resorts etc.
We are currently looking for a Radio Communications Technician to join our team in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advanced System and Radio Programming;
- Analyse technical problems using test equipment and make "on-air tests" in accordance with customer operational environment;
- Apply expertise in design, building and testing of radio communications systems;
- Building and Testing of complex Radio Communication Systems;
- Creating bill of material for construction of design system;
- Design and specification of communication solution to meet customer's radio communication requirements;
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions related to third party system equipment including linking microwave, multiplexing equipment, RF antenna and power systems;
- Onsite installation and commissioning of mobile radios and RF controls;
- Onsite Technical Support;
- Reporting directly to the General Manager;
- To grow branch revenue by providing a high level of service and technical advice in satisfying customer needs;
- To profitably develop the Trans Communications Pty Ltd business within the Queensland market given the general guidelines prescribed by the General Manager and Company policies;
- Verify conformance of each customer's frequency and power output for compliance with prescribed equipment specification, maintenance inspection plan and ACMA regulations.
To be considered you will need a related Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Trade and at least 2 years of relevant employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
This is a full time role and an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $95,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
