About the Role:
An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Yield Superintendent to join our Northern Operations team. The Yield Superintendent will travel to all processing sites on a rotational basis, to review, assess and strategise process improvements within our boning room, to ensure we maximise our yield and profitability.
Reporting to the Yield Operations Manager, your role will be to manage the production yield improvement project, as well as develop our boning room leaders to maximise our beef production.

The annual salary for this position is more than $73,150 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Review current boning room processes and finalise production opportunity strategy for the Northern business.
· Complete yield analysis review and provide improvement strategy.
· Engage with site boning room and plant leaders to maximise production opportunities and continue on our continuous improvement journey.
· Develop and coach site leadership on production best practice
· Coach and mentor boning room forepersons to effectively manage yield including both white bones and cutting lines.
· Monitor and maintain product specifications and improvement opportunities.
· Liaise daily with data analysts and production leadership.
· Development and monitor production requirements and capacities.
About you:
Minimum 15 years’ experience in a production meat processing environment
Demonstrated expertise in world class boning best practice
Expert knowledge of beef specifications and yield requirements.
Demonstrated experience in senior production management role.
Ability to lead and engage a large experienced senior leadership team
Good problem-solving skills and experience in continuous improvement.
Ability to engage, coach, and mentor staff in relation to new process improvements and requirements.
Ability to travel to all JBS Northern sites regularly
Excellent communication skills
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements.
