Avisa Key Responsibilities: As an Apiarist/Beekeeper, your duties will include: Managing and maintaining healthy bee colonies, including hive assembly, inspection, and pest/disease management. Qualification & Experience Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have: Minimum Qualifications: At least a Certificate III in Beekeeping or a related field with up to 2 years of experience in apiculture. Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in beekeeping will substitute for formal qualifications. Essential Skills: Proficiency in hive management, honey production, and pest and disease control. Strong physical fitness and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. A solid understanding of biosecurity regulations and best practices in apiculture. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across states. Strong communication skills for training and collaboration within a team environment.
