Operating from Wednesday to Sunday, noon until late, The Daughter's Arms is renowned for its eclectic menu featuring innovative dishes like Yorkshire puddings with bone marrow, curry-sauced fish and chips, and its signature "pijja," an Indian-style pizza. The gastropub’s lively atmosphere and retro interior design blend vintage British-Indian nostalgia with modern sophistication, making it a must-visit destination.
An experienced Restaurant Manager is sought to oversee the seamless operation of the restaurant. Reporting directly to senior management, the role requires leading a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the unique essence of the gastropub.
The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing the customer journey, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring staff efficiency and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and mentor staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to manage stock.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and compliance with workplace regulations.
• Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold food quality and presentation.
• Plan and execute promotional events and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and innovation within the workplace.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or gastropub setting.
• Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality management, business, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage operations, lead teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
