Position: Skilled Architect
Location: Annandale, NSW
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients and management to understand and develop architectural solutions, considering the desired type, style, and scale of buildings or modifications.
• Generate comprehensive project documentation including sketches, scale drawings, and integrate key elements of structural, mechanical, and aesthetic considerations into final designs.
• Craft detailed specifications and contractual documents for construction purposes and oversee the tendering process on behalf of clients.
• Engage in consultations with clients and other professionals to discuss design plans, projected costs, and construction methodologies.
• Analyze site-specific data including geographical, ecological, and structural features to inform effective land use and development strategies, while also preparing detailed environmental impact assessments.
• Produce detailed reports, site plans, working drawings, and cost estimations that outline the specifics of proposed developments including landscape modelling and access routes.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and compliance with all relevant building codes.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Stay updated on the latest architectural trends and technologies to enhance design efficiency and sustainability.
• Participate in workshops and team meetings to refine design processes and foster innovative ideas within the team.
