Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is keen on driving project success from the ground up.

Location: Catherine Field, NSW

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine construction methods, choose appropriate materials and set quality standards while interpreting and adapting specifications, drawings, plans, and procedural documentation to align with unique project requirements.
• Lead and coordinate on-site activities, managing the delivery of materials, machinery, and labor to ensure seamless operational flow and adherence to set timelines.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of architectural and engineering designs to provide accurate cost estimations and detailed financial plans, aiding stringent budget management.
• Continuously monitor design alterations, evaluate cost impacts, and execute proficient negotiation and valuation of design variations to maintain budget integrity and project scope.
• Oversee and coordinate all phases of civil construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and government bodies, facilitating clear communication and prompt resolution of technical issues.
• Implement and monitor strict quality control protocols to ensure that all workmanship and materials meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, promoting a collaborative project environment and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Implement innovative project management techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on-site.
• Uphold San Marcos’s commitment to safety and environmental standards across all project phases.
• Foster a team-oriented environment that supports San Marcos's family-like culture through collaborative and respectful engagement with all project stakeholders.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated capability in leading projects, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

Offer:
• Full-time position, typically 38 hours per week.
• Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum.
