Bob White Australia Pty Ltd (Bob White Electrix) are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrical Motor Repairer/Armature Winder to join their team in Geelong VIC 3215.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Toolbox mtgs as required
- Adhere to laws, codes, statutory rules and regulations, industry, and national standards.
- Work in a safe manner with respect to self and others
- Undertake works to schedule and quality requirements
- Furnish time sheets by close of business Friday on a weekly basis.
- Keep accurate diary of meetings and daily activities.
- Rewind High Voltage AC and DC Electric Motors Workshop
- Plan jobs to co-ordinate repair activities and organize tools and work methods
- Conduct detailed analysis and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repair method of AC and DC Electric Motors.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Recommend changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- As required purchase required materials for projects, ensure accurate costing of PO for processing in Workbench
- Adherence to company IMS requirements and standards as otherwise directed by the Bob White Electrix from time to time.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in electric motor repair, armature rewinding, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of various types of electric motors, including AC, DC, and industrial motors.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical motor issues.
Salary range is $75,000-90,000pa commensurate with experience
