As the Senior Finance Manager in the SIXT business division, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the division including ownership of the customer billing process. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with NRMA Group policies, and the efficient use of financial resources.
What You'll Do
- Management of month end and year end close activities in line with NRMA Group timelines
- Manage the compilation of the monthly balance sheet and annual budgeted balance sheets
- Preparation of monthly BAS, FBT and Income Tax provisions and return calculations, including liaising with Group Tax
- Oversee the effective operation of controls to monitor compliance with policies such as delegation of authority and travel/expense management
- Lead the development and implementation of effective transaction capture and billing process, including management key stakeholders in Product development, Operations, Technology and Franchisees
- Lead the financial control and accounts receivable teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively
- Inspire confidence and efficiency within the team and across the broader business for the delivery of timely, high-quality service to internal and external customers
What You'll Bring
- Effective leadership and management skills and proven track record in people management
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant finance discipline including CA/CPA
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong skills in Excel and proficient across a range of MS suite platforms and other reporting systems and tools
- Exceptional communicator – in writing, spoken word and presentation
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to engage a range of stakeholders across a multi-disciplined business
