Sunshine Toyota is an award-winning dealership located at Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast. Since 2001, Sunshine Toyota on the Sunshine Coast has been a locally owned and operated family business dedicated to the motoring needs of the Sunshine Coast community.
We employ over 80 locals and having experienced a record year and increasing demand for Toyota vehicles, we are looking for additional talented Automotive Mechanics to join our service team.
Who do we need?
* Relevant trade qualification in the field is preferred.
* Ideally have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic.
* A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
* Experienced and competent in test driving and conducting final assessments of vehicles prior to delivery or return of vehicles to guests.
* Experience of working in a franchised mechanical workshop is preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment with minimal supervision.
What will you be doing?
* Conduct service, diagnosis and repairs of automotive engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
* Guidance and mentoring of our apprentice technicians offering advice and service recommendations.
* Provide a “best in town experience” to our guests.
