Your new company
Hays is currently working with a global mining company, recruiting an underground Field Service Mechanic. This will be a temporary assignment with permanent opportunities pending performance.
Your new role
You will be working on various mobile plant equipment and raisebore drill rigs, as well as conducting standard underground duties, such as troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of underground mining equipment and components. In this role, you will also be travelling between multiple sites.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience with Landcruiser 79, Volvo L120H and F series
Raisebore experience is highly desired
Strong understanding of hydraulics
Mobile Plant trade certificate is highly desirable, fixed plant is also considered
C class licence
Working at heights preferred
Senior first aid essential
Must be able to adapt and work
