ROLE SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Supervisor specializing in electronic equipment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the company’s automated production systems, quality control processes, and equipment. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electronic equipment while adhering to safety standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to test, verify, and optimize the functionality of electronic systems, addressing any discrepancies through adjustments or reprogramming.
User Support: Provide guidance to users on proper operating procedures to prevent equipment malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
Installation: Install electronic instruments and control systems, integrating them seamlessly with existing production infrastructure.
Maintenance: Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to commission, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory standards, particularly concerning electrical safety and equipment handling.
Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, documenting activities, repairs, and modifications to support operational transparency and traceability.
Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and safety teams to enhance equipment performance, support operational goals, and drive continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, AQF Certificate IV, or higher.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Exposure to high-risk food manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience maintaining MOBA egg grading machinery is highly desirable.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for electronic systems.
People-centric approach with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail.
Safety-first mindset with a commitment to adhering to regulatory standards.
Familiarity with food safety principles is preferred but not mandatory.
