Engineering Technologist

At Taz Drone Solutions, we are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Engineering Technologist to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities
• Being able to apply engineering knowledge to solve complex challenges related to new and existing product developments;
• Being able to cooperate with a team of specialized engineers to improve product developments;
• Analyze and modify new and existing engineering technologies in product and process to increase quality and efficiency of product and process;
• Apply those technologies to the testing and implementation of projects or implementation of new manufacturing and assembling processes as requested;
• Design plans for ongoing and future engineering projects;
• Managing production sources to ensure full compliance with ethical sourcing requirements and high level technical ability standards;
• Communicate results effectively to internal and external stakeholders;

Requirements
• be able to identify, analyze and solve problems;
• have good oral and written communication skills;
• good computer skills;
• to be organized, practical and creative;
• to enjoy technical and design work;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
• Critical thinking and attention to details is a must

Position: Full Time
Salary: $70,000 – 90,000 per year
Location: Sheffield TAS 7306
