Responsibilities:
As an accountant with us, you will handle a range of financial accounting activities, including but not limited to:
• Preparing Income Tax Returns for all entities (Company, Trust, Individual, SMSF)
• Preparing End of Year Financial Statements
• Preparing Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS & IAS)
• Liaising with clients to address queries promptly and accurately
• Liaising with the ATO or other third parties on behalf of clients when required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Must be a permanent resident of Australia
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification work experience in Australian and public practice
• -Proficiency in accounting software (experience in XERO, MYOB and QuickBooks preferred)
• -Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Advanced time management skills, including planning, prioritising, and scheduling tasks
