You’ll drive Domain’s digital property content on Nine.com.au, collaborating closely with the editorial team to deliver compelling stories that attract readers.
Success in this fast-paced newsroom role requires strong news sense, creativity, accuracy, and the ability to generate fresh ideas under tight deadlines.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Assign daily content tasks and oversee ongoing content projects.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and aligned content strategy.
- Conduct sub-editing for quality and accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor an Associate Producer.
- Write and produce daily content, meeting tight and rolling deadlines.
- Upload and publish content via CMS.
- Identify and interview key talent for features.
- Meet and exceed audience targets.
- Amplify content across various platforms, including social media and Google Showcase.
- Utilise data and dashboards for content insights.
- Stay updated on media trends.
- Continuously upskill in emerging technologies.
- Develop and implement social media and SEO strategies in partnership with social and SEO teams.
