Pipelayers are needed to join the pipe maintenance team for work across Queensland!! Your new company
Backed by a global team, your new company is a nationwide organisation that services their large-scale clients across QLD's water network. Your new company works on local and rural projects, including sites in Brisbane, Tweed heads, Western Downs, Dalby, and Toowoomba.
Your new role
As a pipelayer servicing the water network, your new role will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Working in the re-lining team - Completing sewerage and drainage maintenance across QLD - Locating and identifying leaks or damaged pipes - Repairing any damage or leaks found in pipes
- Hydroblasting pipes
- Working on a 10:3 Roster
- Occasional night shift work
- Optional Saturday work
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience labouring, preferably in a similar or the same industry - Working reference from the last 12 months - Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test - Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam if required - Police check (Hays Provided) - Vaccinations against Hep A, B, and C (or willingness to obtain) - Experience with KRE robotic cutting (optional but beneficial)
- Focus on health and safety as the work is high risk
- Ability to work away from home - Tickets: * HR/MR * White card * Confined spaces * Working at heights
