Summary:
Mine Site are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workshop yard, as well as assisting with loading and unloading of equipment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Equipment and Yard Management:
Assist in the safe movement, loading and unloading of heavy mobile plant equipment within the yard.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard. ensuring clear pathways and orderly storage of tool and equipment.
Conduct basic inspection of equipment for visible damage or maintenance needs before movement or storage.
Workshop Support:
Provide assistance to HD Fitters by retrieving tools, parts and equipment as needed
Prepare equipment and tools for service or repairs, ensuring readiness for Fitters
