Astir Australia is a physio and medical wholesale supplier, specialising in medical and sport supplies for physio and allied health professionals. Currently recruiting for a Medical Sales Representative with extensive technical knowledge and experience to join our organisation.
Job Overview
The technical medical sales representative will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets. Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring outstanding customer service. It is essential that the candidate has extensive experience and technical knowledge within the Sports, Physiotherapy and Rehab industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Cold calling and using resources available to prospect for new clients/new business.
- Preparing and presenting tenders on specialised medical equipment and consumables
- Identifying market trends and providing feedback to management on new business and opportunities
- Understanding the competitive environment and providing management with feedback and understanding of the market
- Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring excellent service levels
- Ensuring regular visits of key customers and existing customers. Creating a call cycle and planning thereof.
- Understanding and assessing the customers' needs and advising them on the most suitable products and services
- Knowing and understanding the customers needs, keeping up with competitor activities and satisfying customer needs.
- Quoting, presenting, and negotiating tenders and new business proposals
- Ensuring that the delivery, installation, and training of products.
- Reporting on monthly sales, sales targets, and forecasts monthly.
- Following up on customer satisfaction and finding resolution when problems arise.
- Deliver sustainable profit as well as the market share growth in the Australian market.
- Responsible for the overall satisfaction, acquisition, retention & development of the assigned Accounts.
- Responsible for delivering world class products and services through profitable renewal, conversion, and new sale development.
- Good understanding of margins and profits needed to sustain consistent growth and profitability.
- Working with international distributors and understanding the needs of each distributor in the respective country.
- Managing and coordinating suppliers ensuring stock is delivered on time and without any complications.
Generous salary package available with vehicle allowance and fuel card.
