Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician- Electrical to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Carrying out the toral maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets
Carrying out electrical installations, decommissioning and attending to breakdowns as required
Assisting electrical engineers in the design/layout of electrical installations,
Performing electrical testing of systems
Conducting required scheduled servicing to maintain optimum fleet performance
Preparing drawings plans and diagrams for electrical installations
Maintaining the levels of all required materials and ensuring the appropriate tools are in place and maintained ready for use
Contributing to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment
Carrying out effective troubleshooting to minimise downtown and unnecessary repair costs
Maintaining and enhancing relationships and communication with internal and external customers
Providing technical support to the Sales Team when required
About You
To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant work experience; or
A trade qualification as an electrician and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Exceptional communication skills
Strong customer focus
Ability to work under pressure and make deadlines
Planning, problem solving and coordination skills
Ability to work unsupervised at times
