Surveying Technician- Full time
38 hours per week
Salary $73,150 per year + Superannuation (as per the statutory rate)
Bereza Surveying is one of the biggest surveying companies in Canberra with 30 years of experience in the field. We are a reputed business offering surveying services, primarily to large companies in the construction sector. We also carry out surveying for builders and residential customers in the ACT and NSW. We only use skilled professionals on the job and approach all our projects with the highest level of professionalism, be it for high-rises, residential developments, commercial or major infrastructure projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that the work is aligned with project specifications and plans.
• Performing house set-outs, small control surveys and as-built/post-pour surveys.
• Completing feature surveys using different surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment.
• Establishing reference points and markers on the construction site to guide construction activities.
• Ensuring quality assurance and compliance of surveys to industry standards.
• Collaborating with team members and liaising with clients.
• Managing a mix of construction and land surveying projects across Canberra region.
• Gathering data from various sources such as maps, aerial photos, and site measurements to assist in project planning and execution.
Qualification and Experience
• A qualification or certificate related to surveying is preferred (C-III or above qualification).
• Proven skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the related field.
• You must have a valid Driver License as the work requires travelling across the Canberra region.
