About the Team
The team supports the building of simulators for the L400 Phase II BOXER Reconnaissance vehicle for the Australian Army. This includes prototype development, manufacturing oversight and systems integration.
About the Role
The Hardware Engineer Simulation is responsible for the mechanical and electrical engineering design and development of Simulation hardware for the L400 Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle Simulators.
As Hardware Engineer Simulation, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
Mechanical and electrical engineering design for the L400 BOXER CRV Simulators;
Utilise CAD tools for product design (Siemens NX);
Conduct FEA/engage with FEA specialists for product design;
Develop manufacturing and assembly drawings;
Develop designs in accordance with AS/NZ standards and Military Standards;
Oversee hardware units from prototype to production phases of the project;
Liaise and coordinate with external suppliers for hardware manufacture;
