Our valued client, West Coast Rewind - based in Malaga WA – is an innovative and professional Electro-Mechanical business established over 25 years. They are looking for ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT TRADES WORKERS to join their team of professionals on a fulltime and permanent basis.
Job task will include but is not limited to:
Delivery of all field electronic repairs and maintenance and associated equipment, small and large project overhauls, service work as well as providing ongoing service to external and internal customers
Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
Production, assembly/reassembly, testing and adjusting of based electrical and mechanical diesel-powered DC& AC generator sets.
Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems
What we are looking for:
Experience in servicing, overhaul and rewind of small motors diesel engines would be desirable
Trade qualified
Hands-on experience with repairs or assembly of mechanical and/or electrical equipment in a workshop environment
Experience in using general workshop tools and equipment
A willingness to take on and complete any task in a most efficient manner
The discipline to only do things right
A determination to complete the most difficult task
Strong communication skills
Excellent reporting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
An appreciation of workshop housekeeping
