Your Role as an Engineering Technologist:
As an integral part of the Billabong Solar team, you will work on innovative solar technology projects, contributing to the development, optimization, and implementation of renewable energy systems. You’ll collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to driving sustainability and excellence in the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design & Optimization: Assist in designing and optimizing solar PV systems to meet performance and efficiency goals.
2. Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed technical evaluations of solar systems, analyzing data to identify improvements and resolve issues.
3. Project Management: Support the planning and execution of solar projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
4. Technology Integration: Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance system performance and scalability.
5. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all systems and projects comply with Australian regulations and industry standards.
6. Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, technical specifications, and system documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
7. Client Support: Provide technical guidance to clients, answering queries and addressing technical challenges effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a driven Engineering Technologist who is passionate about renewable energy and has a strong technical background.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a relevant engineering or renewable energy role.
3. Knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage solutions, and renewable energy technologies.
Skills & Attributes:
1. Proficiency in using solar design software and engineering tools.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on projects.
