LD Total is a multi-award winning landscape company specialising in landscape and irrigation design, commercial construction, maintenance and residential lot packages. We are a national, privately owned company located in Perth, South-West of Perth, Melbourne, Queensland and Adelaide.
We are currently looking for a qualified/experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team based in our Baldivis depot. This role is offered on a full-time basis and is available for an immediate start.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- Relevant certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training; and/or
- At least three years of relevant experience
Skills required include:
- Servicing and maintaining small and large diesel engines
- Mowers and small petrol machine maintenance
- Detecting and diagnosing mechanical faults in engines and parts
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts
= Preventative maintenance scheduling
- Mechanical trouble shooting
- Parts ordering and stock control
- Field breakdowns
- Forklift Licence (essential)
- Welding (advantage)
- Sound computer literacy
