Purpose of the role:
The employer specialises in providing back-office and asset management services to investors in the renewable energy sector. Their expertise in renewable energy, combined with their unique engineering, accounting, legal, ICT, and advisory skills, enables them to offer comprehensive services across more installed power and markets than any other company in the sector.
In this full-time role, you will oversee Construction Management services, Asset Management services, and Technical Due Diligence for the employer's clients in Australia. You will also support Managers and Associates in their respective departments.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and foster positive relationships with authorities, NSPs, AEMO, the community, and asset owners.
• Lead or participate in site visits and inspections involving third parties, such as operators and contractors.
• Oversee and manage all relevant contracts, including EPC, Grid Connection, Asset Management, O&M, funding agreements, and interconnection agreements.
• Develop the Scope of Works for Asset Management and supervise the AM services for the Australian portfolio.
• Understand the Scope of Work for your portfolio to ensure that Service Level Standards are consistently met.
• Ensure construction site safety and uphold quality control processes and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws, legislative requirements, and federal and state regulations related to the operation of renewable energy assets.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
• Educational Background: Relevant engineering degree.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Scope of Work Understanding: Ability to verify that service level standards are maintained.
• System Performance Oversight: Monitor key systems (PV, security, SCADA) and validate KPIs monthly.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure all data issued to clients meets Quintas Energy standards.
• Coordination Skills: Work with legal and financial departments on coordinated management processes.
• Contractor Supervision: Oversee contractor performance and assess compliance with contractual obligations and industry best practices.
• Issue Management: Address relevant actions, omissions, delays, errors, and negligence.
• Meeting Participation: Conduct quarterly meetings with senior-level operators.
