Wagga Motors are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Wagga Wagga NSW 2650.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, buses and other heavy plant machinery/equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, construction/plant equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on Trucks, construction/plant equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters.
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Trucks, construction/plant equipment, lift equipment, earth moving and waste compacters.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or relevant
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
