The Credit Analyst is responsible for playing a key part in assessing and validating credit applications, in line with our credit policy and procedure.
Core responsibilities;
Assess credit applications within a timely manner to meet the agreed service levels for the business
Assist the team by working on credit related requests and managing the workflow
Ensure all assessments are in line within delegations, policies, standards, and risk appetite
Turning around transactions within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality
Analysing and interpreting financial data
Assisting with the structuring and packaging of loan applications
Credit research and risk assessment.
Understanding in relevant lending legislation, responsible and appropriate lending
