Positions are available on a large privately owned piggery at Cohuna in northern Victoria. The farm operates breeder and grower units at four convenient locations and seeks hands-on workers with pig husbandry knowledge and experience to join their farrowing team.
The positions are best suited to workers with previous experience in pig breeding and farrowing who enjoy working with pure bred pigs, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, communicate easily and appreciate working with minimal supervision in a positive environment where they can expand their skills.
Working Monday-Friday and alternate weekends, the positions pay an hourly rate depending on duties and experience and come with accommodation on farm or rental assistance, with weekly shopping available in Cohuna, and its an easy drive to Swan Hill or Echuca for all your other needs.
