Position Overview:
TSKK Construction Pty Ltd is seeking two qualified and experienced Carpenters to join our growing team. As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and maintenance work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, combined with a commitment to precision, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for construction.
Construct, repair, and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures, including walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
Operate and maintain carpentry tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with relevant building codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals on-site to achieve project goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with supervisors and team members.
Requirements:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
1-2 years of professional carpentry experience in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and regulations.
