About the Role
Pearl Energy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations in Wangaratta, VIC. The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable running of the store while providing excellent customer service and meeting operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate replenishment orders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Ensure the store layout and displays are attractive, functional, and in line with the company’s branding.
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve the overall shopping experience.
Sales and Profitability:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed store revenue targets.
Analyze sales trends, customer behaviors, and local market opportunities to optimize performance.
Prepare and present regular sales and performance reports to senior management.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to build a high-performing and motivated team.
Schedule and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Conduct performance reviews and implement professional development plans for team members.
Financial and Administrative Management:
Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
Manage cash handling processes and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
Oversee compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Marketing and Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotions and campaigns.
Organize in-store events and initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Key Requirements
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a retail management or equivalent role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
