The Venue
The Pig 'N' Whistle venues are authentically themed and operated as British pub & restaurant offerings. The Pig 'N' Whistle brand has a significant international following of British expatriates with football (soccer) matches shown live and collectively they employ over 200 staff, including many from the UK and Ireland.
The Role
We are looking for the services of an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager for the Pig N Whistle in Brisbane. This pivotal role will take control of the daily operations of the restaurant, drive and inspire a team of hospitality professionals and deliver an exceptional guest experience. We are looking for a friendly and innovative team player ready to jump on board and become part of Brisbane's social precinct iconic venue.
Reporting to an accomplished Venue Manager, this role will be highly visible and requires someone who thrives in a busy and demanding venue.
What we need:
• A naturally friendly and engaging personality
• Excellent communication skills
• First-rate food and wine knowledge
• High volume restaurant background
• Impeccable presentation
• Business financial acumen
• Table booking system knowledge is desired but not essential

You will be:
• Designing menus in collaboration with Chefs
• Organizing and coordinating special events
• Managing the procurement and pricing of goods in line with the budget
• Keeping track of stock levels and financial records
• Ensuring dining areas meet health standards, are clean, operational, and presentable
• Consulting with customers to gauge their satisfaction with food and service
• Hiring, training, and overseeing waiting and kitchen staff
• May handle reservations, welcome guests, and help with taking orders

You must hold RSA and RMLV.
